SUPERIOR COURT JUDGES

The Superior Court has 39 judges (give or take).

People will sometimes ask for basic background on a Judge assigned to your case. We find that Trellis Law is a good place to start your research. It gives very basic information the judge but it also lists cases that the judge has presided over. Here is the Trellis Law link to look up Contra Costa County Judges.

A website for more detailed (but generic) information about each Contra Costa Superior Court judge can be found at the Contra Costa County Bar Association website.

If you have a jury summons, here is the Contra Costa County Jury website

If you need legal assistance handling your own case, there is a site from the Sacramento Superior Court that is useful to public and to lawyers. They free e-books and advice on how to respond to or propound civil discovery, access to forms and more. Here is the Sacramento Superior Court library  link.
