Our office (Dan Horowitz & Tom Kensok) represented Dejon Brown. Dejon exercised his 1st Amendment rights to strongly criticize a squad of Richmond PD officers pulling up to do a MARIJUANA storage search of a car (just normal people in the car hanging around during the summer). The officer escalates and then charges him. Dejon's brother pushes the officer off Dejon (officer has a knee on Dejon's upper back) and runs. Officer chases and tasers the brother. Lawsuit filed today.
